color variation in bearded dragon? Why?

My dragon, Munchers, is a male and almost 16 months old. He usually shifts his color from a bright yellow, tan, to a dark brown, depending on his mood and such.

I am really worried because his head and legs are alarmingly gray. His body is still the same normal color; I don’t recall if he had the same color transformation when he last molted, but it has been a while. I haven’t altered his diet any, and he eats heartily. His enclosement remains at around 82 degrees.

Munchers is still active. He is running all over my shoulders, hands, and keyboard as I am writing.

Any ideas? I am still pretty worried that he might have some skin disease or other illness.

My Bearded Dragon changes too, and it’s normal. His head and legs remain a light sandy color though, not gray. They change the color of their body becasue that’s the area that absorbs the most heat, limb change wouldn’t do much.
