dragon ball z why did the androids change?

when Future Trunks came to the past he said that something altered the past making the androids stronger in the main time line.what caused them to be stronger because in the future they were cold but weaker but in the main time line they was stronger but wasn’t that cold. Also what caused the main time line to change?

well the androids in the main time line were as strong if not weaker than the ones in the future. also in the future time lime the androids purpose for being built was to destroy while in the main time line it was to kill son goku. that might have changed because trunks helped save goku’s life but in his time line goku died so dr gerro might have changed the androids purpose to destroy.

he did alter the past by saving Goku, but the androids were the same strength. There weren’t any indication that the androids were more powerful that their future counterparts unless i missed something.

Hmm, i don’t know. He might have said something but i don’t remember what is was. I personally believe that the androids were much stronger in the In the Future, then in the main timeline. pretty much everyone could take them on in the Main timeline, Whilst in the future version, they the androids easily beat the z fighters.
