Hello all, I was recently researching the Dragon Skin armor from pinnacle armor and noticed their site was unavailable. Did they go out of business or something? Also I looked at older news reports stating that pinnacle had evidence that the military fraudulently altered the test results and that pinnacle was going to sue them, what ever happened to that? IT WAS TWO YEARS AGO!!! I cannot find anything recent on the subject, and want answers. Please any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks : )

1. Pinnacle lied about the test, dragon skin under went the same test, repeatably, and failed them all.

The adhesive they use, just does not hold up to extended high temperatures.

2. Then there is the ethics/ criminal issue.

Pinnacle sold the LA sheriffs office and the Air Force, body armor rated NIJ level lll compliant.

Except the body armor sold, had Never been sent to NIJ ( national institute of justice ) to be tested.

Pinnacle had lied to both the LA sheriffs department and the Air Force.

I know the LA sheriffs dept sued.

The Air Force was trying to get Pinnacle banned permanently from ever getting a US Federal contract and any company that ever hired the owner of pinnacle.

3. Basically it was all BS, the media jumped on the issue, because of partisan bias, they were trying to make Bush look bad.

Pinnacle was crap from the get go.
