   A muse is something that gives to the idea. I have never heard of a muse being called a tiger or anything like that, though. Basically, it is another name for imagination and creativity. I write short stories, but i can only seem to write in the winter months, my muse runs away in the summer.

    Muses are from Greek Mythology, they were goddesses who inspired creative process. In our time, someone may say that so and so or thus and such is their muse, in other words, that person or thing inspires them creatively.
