does game downloads help make your computer slower?

i downloaded a game and never played it and my xbox connection got slower then i deleted everything of my computer and now its still slow (but a little faster) so if i download a game will it make my pc network adapter slow even if i dont play it.

your most likely having wifi problems. sometimes it slows down your system. make sure to check your wifi connection
